CBRE’s two offices in Hong Kong exemplify our “City and Parks” concept. Design elements are derived from the contrast between Hong Kong’s skyscrapers with its country parks, nature reserves, and urban gardens.

The concept was to weave the “City & Parks” together in two sections: communal areas are identified as parks, whereas workspace, utility, and locker areas are marked as the city. Contrasting with the organic and more natural forms in the park zones, the work area is structured with a more gridded design to represent Hong Kong buildings and roads.

The dynamic offices are fully agile, with dedicated lockers for the home staff’s personal belongings. Lounges, Rise Café, and meeting rooms of varying sizes are incorporated throughout the floor to facilitate spontaneous collaborations.

Green elements were the anchor points of the narrative of the CBRE offices. A lot of the features are both made from recycled materials and recyclable. Additionally, reception desk and the Rise Café bar counter are also upcycled objects from fallen trees in Hong Kong, paying respects to this city’s nature.
