1) Architectural "prototype" exploration
In the village environment of various building forms, the house designed in a simple volume of sloping roof, respects the local village texture?as well as the house have hollowed terrace and overhang balcony?explores an architectural "prototype" that can communicate with nature. which neither destroy the overall volume nor lose interest.
2) The search for low-cost and high-quality construction
By using local waste building materials and traditional construction techniques, a relatively good balance of economy and aesthetics has been achieved. The wall and roof were made of recycled blue bricks and tiles. The roof gutters were cast in one piece of concrete to meet the drainage function and it also become the structural column of the roof. The structure and the drainage function are perfectly combined.
3) Conserve resources and promote zero energy consumption
Local materials was used, especially the abandoned green brick. It transfers the ancient texture into the new building. Sandwich insulated double walls were utilized to bring the building closer to zero energy consumption.
