Deep Water Bay House
This house was conceived for art collector family who wanted to expand their living space and infused their home with both art and nature, tying a stronger connection to the hill peaking towards Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong – the veritable soul of the south – finding harmony, influence and poetry within.
The 3-storey house is divided into three distinctive parts: a welcoming dining, living space and kitchen for family and friends; a flexible display area for the artwork within the house; a calm and intimate resting quarters on the upper two floors; While all areas are infused with a wide range of styles of artwork and sculptures collected throughout the decades.
The house’s eclectic collection of harmonized materials, exhibited how bold and aesthetically relevant design can be equally comfortable, warm and spirited.
