This project has 3 main strategies through which we faced that challenge. First, the poetic aspect of the design concept. We wanted to take a self-evident architectural element and transform it into an active and surprising character in the narrative of the office. We decided to work with doors. These elements, though simple in concept, guard the passage between where we are and where we want to be. Protect us from exterior threats and conceal secrets. Sometimes, through materials and shapes, they show what we might find behind (the glass door of an office or the door of a fridge). But sometimes they mysteriously guard the worlds behind them (like the impenetrable door of a vault or the luring magic of an underground bar´s acoustic plain black door)A design concept where doors are to transport us to four different worlds. This three strategies have a secondary but key agenda for the design: Encouraging Globbers to come back to the office in a post pandemic scenario and giving the physical spaces added values that will improve their experience.
