Ginkgo Space is a sports physiotherapy resort for senior people. Body rehabilitation is usually a painful process that takes time and patience. Learning from traditional Chinese Jiangnan gardening, the design aims to create a cozy space for customers to get treatment and relax. Enter from the main entrance, visitors will shuttle between each functional space. Programs are organized with a mezzanine, forming a tortuous sequence with rich scenery. These framed scenery brings more immersion fun, while also disrupting the certainty of space feelings, so that people may take the resort more like a garden without boundary rather than a box with walls. Scenery is not only presented in the shop, but also borrows the surrounding landscape and rivers. Watching from specific perspectives, after filtering with specific walls and enclosures, the shop is like the exquisite scene of the surrounding gardens, bringing away from the visitor to escape and pleasure.
