As an industrial city, Liuzhou has experienced a difficult transformation from serious pollution to a livable city. Every spring, 260,000 Bauhinia flowers bloom, becoming a city card of Liuzhou. As a waste-to-energy power plant, this project also conveys the concept of green. Therefore, we abstract the Bauhinia flower as a facade element, echoing the impression of the city as a garden, and bringing it closer to the public. The main facade of the building is composed of six hexagonal facade units, arranged into a gradient pattern, and then applied with colours from Bauhinia flowers to form a rich visual experience.
