This project represents a turning point from various perspectives in the thinking and development of the studio. On one hand, it upholds and deepens design issues regarding material structure as architectural structure, exploring contemporary living modes and delving into the construction of the inhabitant and the location and dimension of exterior spaces in relation to the interiors of each inhabited place. On the other hand, it defines a clear stance in terms of reading the surroundings and pre existing elements, taking into consideration, above all, that a building of this scale for the block and its immediate environment can serve as a manifesto addressing this issue.
