The essential concept of the HF Residence in Bragança Paulista results from the fusion of two distinct volumes: one solid and rectangular, clad in wooden slats, and the other translucent, composed almost entirely of glass panels. The sloping terrain allowed for an implementation that gives the sensation of floating to the volumes, accentuated by the light metal structure supporting the social roof.
The main entrance, strategically positioned on the side of the social volume, maximizes visual orientation towards the panoramic surroundings. The interior-exterior integration is enhanced by the glass frames embedded in the masonry, connecting the external area to the interior.
The pool extends along the front elevation and projects towards the side forest, enveloped by a natural stone wall that contrasts its rusticity with the elegance of the volumes composing the materiality of the residence, adding a sense of solidity to the ensemble. The HF Residence balances the lightness and strength of its predominant materials, which when combined result in a seemingly uncomplicated volumetrics, yet revealing unique details.
