House Isla Real

House Isla Real is a 1,600 m² dual residential project designed for a family and the grandmother, appearing as a single volume but functioning as two distinct homes. Inspired by Louis Kahn's Salk Institute, a central axis divides the residence, leading to a garden integrated with the golf course.

Located in Bosque Real on a 1,200 m² plot with an 8-meter slope, the design follows contour lines with terraces and flat gardens, blending with the surroundings. The facade features a vertical lattice, offering privacy and a dynamic aesthetic.

The basement includes parking for 8 cars, service rooms, and a wine cellar. The ground floor houses service and social areas connected to a terrace and garden, while the upper floors contain private spaces. The structure uses concrete and brick, with oak, travertine, and basalt finishes for a timeless quality.

Sustainability is prioritized with potable and rainwater cisterns, reducing water consumption by 30%. The electrical installation is prepared for future automation and solar panels. National materials and careful vegetation selection highlight attention to detail. Fixed furniture by Branco Estudio ensures design consistency.
