Speedstac is a modular construction system that allows for rapid and efficient construction of buildings using prefabricated modules. The modules are designed as self-contained rooms with built-in electrical and plumbing services, making them easy to “transplant” into existing building infrastructure. Modern materials, such as high-performance concrete (or the firm's lightweight concrete solution, currently under development, called Carbonlock), can reduce the weight of the modules, making them easier to lift and move using conventional crane equipment. Using a robust locking mechanism, several modules can be securely fastened and unfastened as needed – producing an adaptive modular housing solution. The Speedstac system offers an innovative solution to the challenges of traditional construction methods, enabling faster, more flexible, and more sustainable building projects. The system is well-suited for repairing damaged buildings or constructing new buildings in a quick and cost-effective manner. Speedstac can be rapidly deployed to first analyze a damaged or partially destroyed building, then fabricate a module to replace rooms without the need to demolish the entire building.
