Tsubaki, the Japanese word for camellia, which are grown at the residence. These flowers provide a touch of Zen and emotional support for the homeowners. In the living room, a sunken sofa area enhances openness, allowing unobstructed views of the garden and water curtain from the dining area.

The design perfectly balances privacy and transparency. Most windows face the center of the house, with the atrium and a large terrace providing ample natural light and fresh air. A special route and stairway allow people direct access to the second-floor terrace without entering the main house. This route also accommodates the father's love for boat fishing, allowing easy transport of equipment and catch to storage and the kitchen.

The design aims to preserve the family’s bond and health. The water curtain in the atrium regulates temperature and humidity, offering privacy in common areas. It also reduces dust, with a specialized filtration system maintaining reusable water quality. The structural design promotes airflow, reducing the need for AC in Taiwan’s subtropical climate. The house also features a state-of-the-art Fresh Air System, filtering out 99% of harmful particles.
