EXCEPTION Fang Suo Commune Sanya Store is a major project of EXCEPTION de MIXMIND in 2023,designed to create a brand new commercial space with ecological, cultural and artistic elements, thus offering consumers with a diversified environment for resting, reading and displaying in Sanya. The store is an independent building whose entire exterior facade is covered with eco-friendly polycarbonate material.This not only improves the lighting of the indoor space, but also isolates the outdoor heat, reducing the light pollution of ordinary glass curtain wall facade caused to the surrounding environment. Whenever the lights on the facade light up at night, the store resembles a lighthouse on an island, symbolizing hope and perseverance, reflecting the architectural concept that the designer hopes to present. The designer deliberately created a vertical “Mountain of Books” that presents brand culture though an atrium space connecting the two floors. presenting a harmonious relationship between heaven, earth, human and nature in a commercial space, bringing a new experience to every individual in the space.
