A key concept that was essential to frame the challenge.
From commercial to work areas, there is a bold yet stylish attitude.
Black is main colour. Changing across different light settings, be it big windows or mixed illumination styles across the office.
Weathering steel is a thing. A concept on its own.
Travelling through the set, moving discreetly through details or clearly making a scene on the reception counter.
With the majority of the furniture crafted by the studio design, it’s obvious how every element connects with each other.
Making room for countless meetings and collaborative work, grouped or divided by a vertical slat room divider entirely made of glass.
A place for exciting ventures, professionally human.

Bio
Made my way through Art School. And, after a brief try-out on Architecture, landed on the Design Degree at IADE-Creative University.

From there, that early thought lead me to work with lighting and home décor, experiencing new ways to shape scenarios.
That combined knowledge made way to the creation of my own interior design studio: Maria Vilhena.

Specialised in Consultancy and Interior Design, we focus on people
The main characters. The ones that shape the space and its story.
In the right set, they build life, frame by frame.
