The clients of the project are fans of southern Italian nature, and we were faced with the task of recreating it as much as possible taking into account local climatic conditions. The clients also wanted to get a winter garden with a recreation area. And there was already a house in a modern style on the territory.
We had to work with a 1.5 hectare plot, which has a relief feature: it decreases from the house to the periphery. And we had to make sure that the interesting, restrained architecture of the house was reflected in the landscape. We achieved this with the help of several accent natural zones.
To avoid overloading the territory with various kinds of buildings, we proposed combining the recreation area with a fireplace and the winter garden into one whole. And between the house and this zone, we placed a blooming garden with fruit trees, which visually separate the zones from each other.
The entire plot is connected by a long walking route with a landscaped lower part, decorated with meadow grasses that imitate Tuscan meadows.
