The schoolyard design project aims to maximise every square metre of space.
The essential element of the project is the convertible front plaza. Elements such as a mobile amphitheatre have been included to create a convertible space for events, and at other times it is transformed into an area for active student recreation.
An important aspect of the project is also the recreational areas that have been created to provide opportunities for recreation and study. These areas have been designed with comfort and ergonomics in mind to create an environment for relaxation and communication.
Another element that adds uniqueness and functionality to the project are lollipop-shaped sun canopies, that are made of coloured glass, protect from the sun and create coloured shadows. They are also a functional art object to which hanging elements can be attached depending on the school events.
The project also includes the possibility of outdoor lessons through summer classrooms and multi-purpose lawns.
The schoolyard landscape project combines functionality, aesthetics, and innovative approaches to create a comfortable and inspiring environment for the development of school children.
