For this eight-bedroom, 23,000-square-foot private residence, the clients wanted a family compound to function like an all-inclusive resort, offering unique guest experiences. Their love of sports, family, & connection inspired the design team’s creativity while maintaining a sense of the island’s natural beauty and commitment to sustainability. The clients value entertaining large groups, requesting dining seating for 16 and multiple gathering spaces. We were challenged to create intimate spaces that could also host larger groups, aiming for effortless luxury with a collected nautical feel. The result is a seamless experience with distinct moments in each area. Flowing indoor-outdoor spaces connect guests to nature. We blurred lines between interior and exterior using a neutral, textured backdrop accented by a crisp color palette evoking the landscape. The great room invites guests into a refreshed sense of home with custom area rugs, sconces, lamps, & seating. The vaulted ceiling is a breathtaking focal point, adding grandeur & drama. Each space features fine art, blending bold, curated artwork with custom and collected furnishings.
