The regeneration of the Loreto district in Santa Maria a Vico is part of a broader urban program involving also Via Mandre and Via Panoramica. The project aims not only to recover abandoned areas but to transform them into vibrant places that foster community, encounter, and shared growth. Loreto regeneration is structured in three thematic areas. The first hosts a multifunctional building inspired by the natural forms of the surrounding landscape, designed as a dynamic center for culture, exhibitions, conferences, and collective work. The second area is dedicated to sports and socialization, with a multipurpose field for football, basketball, and volleyball, alongside a discreetly integrated service building with locker rooms and technical spaces. The third combines functionality and sustainability through a parking area conceived as part of the landscape, with curved lines, greenery, and accessible pedestrian paths. Sustainable rainwater management, low-consumption lighting, and eco-friendly materials reduce environmental impact. Loreto thus becomes a model of sustainable urban development, where modernity and nature coexist in harmony and design strengthens collective identity.
