The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort redefines Caribbean luxury through a bold, context-driven design born from a bold and ambitious brief: to create an unprecedented resort experience in one of the most privileged and irreplicable coastal locations. Inspired by Jack Nicklaus’s Punta Espada Golf Course and the site’s natural geometry, the resort features a dogleg-shaped composition of staggered, angled volumes that seamlessly blend into the landscape using coral stone, wood, and travertine. With 200 rooms and 70 residences, the layout avoids conventional forms to enhance views, privacy, and immersion in nature. Interior gardens, skylights, and water features create fluid indoor-outdoor transitions, ensuring guests are constantly surrounded by light, greenery, and curated experiences. More than a resort, the architecture itself becomes the attraction—harmonizing with its environment while offering effortless access to pools, dining, wellness, and amenities.
