Cishan Tribe, a 3200m2 cultural-themed kids' playscape, is located outside Handan MixC One Mall. Inspired by local 8000-year-old Neolithic Cishan culture—one of the cradles of Chinese civilization and an early site of agriculture and animal domestication—the design integrates its historical symbols.
Key installations: Egg-Hatching Chicken play structure symbolizing nurturing and Cishan's historical significance as the earliest site of chicken domestication, with slides and climbing nets. The Millet Arch Sculpture at the entrance represents Cishan as the earliest site of millet cultivation, with specimen recognition and kaleidoscope functions. A Walnut Seat symbolizes the origin of walnuts in the Central Plains, offering lying nets and photo spots. The Running Tripod Bowl commemorates pottery tripod bowls unearthed from Cishan, allowing children to experience spinning and centrifugal force. The Tribal Wooden Hut incorporates swings, climbing nets, and hanging ropes, reflecting the domed wooden architecture of ancient Cishan dwellings.
Using raw woods, wood-plastic composites, and stones, the design immerses children in the ancient Cishan lifestyle while fostering playful learning.
