Yan'an has a profound historical background and cultural heritage. The Chinese Communist Party led the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation here. It is the base of patriotism, revolutionary tradition and spirit education, and enjoys the reputation of "Museum City of Chinese Revolution".

The newly built 1.5km situation commercial block uses the story of the Red Army's Long March to creates a tourism town with matching squares.

The project covers 270,000 sqm. The inward and outward interfaces adopt the traditional Chinese architectural structure form and draws on the features of ravines and cave dwellings in Yan'an. New architectural styles are also gradually introduced along the axis. The elevated area of the embankment elevation difference uses cave as the spatial display image reflecting scenes of working, fighting and life of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, as well as the regional prosperity in the new era.
