Inspired by the peaceful gardens in modern buildings, this project is to integrate elements of sunlight, air and water into the space. A sleek and elegant style is housed in the modern architectural structure, with the linear patterns inside echoing the geometrical structure of the building.

The lobby unfolds in a warm natural hue, with the rising ceiling opening up the space. The use of reflective materials lightens up the space with the lighting design and natural lights, which adds layers to the space. To blend into the greenery in the surrounding environment, an atrium is set in the center as a symbol of the nature.

To expand the spatial perception and strengthen the translucency, the designer applies semi-transparent glass panels and black hardware to build the door and the atrium.

As for the demo living space, the subtle stone veins on the floor and the patterns on the wall set the tone, a cozy yet sophisticate ambience. The recessed ceiling elongates the sight, creating an illusion of a bigger space. The designer successfully establishes a space with multiple layers and furthermore, a sensation of the tangible interweaving the intangible.
