Part of human nature craves security in all forms. With this in mind, the designer came up with an astoundingly primitive yet modern take on the beautiful design of this property. Using the cave as the core concept, the designer replicates a cave-like and rustic space with comforting color tones to resemble the idea of the human womb. The living room alone evokes the nostalgic feel of residing in the cradle of life. The flowing pattern symbolizes the fluid of life, amniotic fluid. With this beautiful pattern, it creates asymmetry just like the origins of the womb and prehistoric caverns. Complete the cave space with sinuous lines, rugged textures, light bands and rocky elements. Flowing water and light bands are used to replicate natural light, creating true-nature lighting. A mini garden is arranged to allow the client to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing a sense of rejuvenation. The bedroom enforced the sense of embracement, using a grill partition for a controlled light penetration, which projected a beautiful and purposeful fan of light and shadow.

A strong sense of nostalgia, tranquility, and serendipity envelops this room.
