The Institute of African Knowledge (INSTAK) is a research think tank established in 2019 whose mandate is to research, gather and disseminate knowledge about Africa and African people. INSTAK has been involved in many and varied projects in line with the organisation’s objective and such projects include the compilation and publication of the Africa Factbook and Book of African Records among other far-reaching legacy projects.

The Museum of African Liberation (MoAL) comes about as a result of all African Heads of State and Government coming together to agree on the idea of establishing an African museum which will house stories and war artifacts of all the African nations.
The project carries the endorsement and blessings of all African nations and Zimbabwe is blessed to have been nominated to house the museum. The museum bears a continental footprint.

The MoAL seeks to consolidate all the various African liberation stories in one place which will allow visitors, local and international, to come and enjoy a truly African experience while learning the background and execution of the various liberation wars carried out by the respective African countries.
