Lian Xiang Lou was founded in 1889.

With the height of a two-story building, we blur the boundary of the building by using water features and low walls to build a semi-enclosed Cantonese courtyard and plant a lush lychee tree to form the site's botanical landmark. Combining and optimising the surrounding ground paving and lighting creates a group of pleasant landscapes for the city streets. It expands an "in-between space" for the indoor space integrated with the outdoor environment.

We get an atrium area by partially removing beams and a small part of the floor. Here, a set of highly symbolic stairs is designed. It connects two large spaces on the left and right in the horizontal dimension. The impressive red mirror material also creates a stage sense with a maze effect in the vertical dimension.

The storyline begins with “Lian”, which means lotus and has become the core spatial language and installation elements. The mirrored ceiling, the light and shadow of water patterns, and the elegant red and green tones are continuously interpreted with the progress of the space level. We want the guests to feel captivated by the brand story told by the space.
