This project formed part of the BA in Interior Design 3rd year curriculum at IIE Vega. The aim of the project was to design a new retail space that allows users to experience a brand rather than just showcasing their physical product.
Welcome to Its Paradise Baby, the one-stop baby shop. Its Paradise Baby is a new retail attraction created to showcase local baby products from small brands. This umbrella brand consists of neutral colours of nude shades, which gives off a sense of cosiness and warmth. This brand fulfils new and young moms' wants and needs, under one roof, to give their babies the best, and most stylish, childhood possible.
All products & finishes are proudly South African. The majority of brands showcased within the store are South African bar one family-owned, international brand. The design is natural and neutral, therefore eco-friendly and gender-neutral. The shop design is based on a child’s perspective of the space. From heights to hazards and everything in between.
