In the 215sqm newly built house in Taoyuan, the designer creates a peaceful residence for a couple and their two daughters, who are studying in high school and primary school respectively. In order to satisfy the preference of the owners for natural greenery and avoid wasting the advantage of 270-degree field of view, the designer minimizes the visual barrier through the open space layout design, so that the owners can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window.
The original layout of this space was an L-shaped space. In order to make the space without any scattered feeling, the designer skillfully uses the arc shape to connect and soften the entryway, so that the elegant arc curve like a river can be felt when entering the door, which also echoes the positive and dynamic life attitude of the family.
In terms of color and material planning, the designer uses the soft earth colors to make the space filled with a comfortable atmosphere. With the vivid yellow and blue colors, the space atmosphere is more vigorous. At the same time, the use of terrazzo, wood and other natural materials makes the house full of harmonious style.
