This project is a new prototype of a multi-storey residential development in Bangkok that is designed for the intergeneration living community. The 3 key concepts are:
DESIGN – CREATING GREAT HOMES
By thinking “out of the box” we have created a unique concept in high-rise living: a flexible living space called “the nook”, which can operate in many ways: an outdoor terrace or an additional internal area, like a home-office.
LIFESTYLE – HEALTHY AND REFINED
All public corridors have been designed to be wider than most other residential projects. Seamlessly accessibility and ease of use for the elderly and/or disabled is a key hallmark of the design. In addition, the use of an innovative ventilation system (ERV) that filters and cleans the outside air to improve the indoor air quality combines with integrated sensors to increase safety for the elderly.
ARCHITECTURE - TIMELESS AND MEMORABLE
The architectural design seeks inspiration in the glory days of a bygone era. The massing and detailing is inspired by the great buildings in New York of the Art Deco era. Careful manipulation of the overall massing has broken the building down into elegant and well-proportioned components.
