This is a residential planning case. The homeowner aspires to have an exotic home style and an incredible tolerance of color. Therefore, the designer has courageously chosen a contrasting color configuration and decorative techniques with French colonial vocabulary, demonstrating a colorful and diverse living environment. Thanks to the designer’s thorough evaluation and excellent execution, the homeowner gets to enjoy the romantic and exotic atmosphere at home.
Given the excellent window arrangement of the house, the designer planned an open design as the central space of the shared living area. Also, small icicle glass screens are utilized as a part of the partitions to allow natural light indoors. When entering the house, one will see a ceiling screen made of wood, iron, and small icicle glass, which uses its light-permeable feature to make the space spacious and bright while retaining its seclusion. Besides the screen, the foyer is divided by a three-color hexagonal floor tile. The designer has planned a two-way flow design to make the space flow smoothly and neatly.
