Siete is a Mexican-American food brand that has become a pantry staple. As a family of seven (hence the name), the Garza familia grew up in a vibrant Mexican-American culture that now inspires the Siete brand. The values of home and family are central to Siete’s way of doing business which was part of why their original office was located in a house. When the rapidly expanding Siete team outgrew their old office space we were asked to design a Mexican home for 100 co-workers in an abandoned kombucha factory. We modeled the space to replicate the flow patterns of old cities, neighborhoods, alleys, and meeting spaces, all of which funneled into a central courtyard and kitchen for communal gatherings.
