It's located in Chengdu, China, covering 1600 sq.m. The exterior is shaped like a seashell, and the original interior is fragmented, poorly lit and not very functional. In this case, the designers adjusted the layers, motion lines, interaction scale and the way artworks exhibit, emphasizing the harmony of environment, people and space.

The living room is reshaped using shell-like curves inspired by building facade. The high hollow, with an entire white wall, resembles a blank canvas. As the sun rises and the moon sets, light and shadow from the hole are mirrored on the wall, like a full moon signifying a reunion. This makes room hazy and dynamic.

The dining echoes the art picture "Eat", adding a bit of fun. Offering a lakeside vista, each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The newly built linking “bridge” alters the previously redundant pattern, as an art gallery to exhibit the owners' beloved artworks and collections. The lounge and the fitness feature a flowing pattern of highs and lows, with the partition wall opened up to bring best fresh air and sunlight. By doing so, residents' life habits, aesthetics and spiritual needs are fully met, truly enhancing their quality of life.
