The project focuses on optimizing and upgrading the architectural facade and interior spaces of the marketplace while preserving its original functionality.

Looking back on the evolution of marketplace layouts across time, we find that memories are not tied to specific objects, but rather to the bustling, intimate atmosphere beneath simple street awnings or eaves. To evoke these memories, we make "eaves" a cultural icon, interpreting the facade and interior holistically. "Eaves" also dominate the architectural form, forming a design system deeply integrating "memory-space-function."

We adopt a warm color palette and use a "double-skin facade" to reshape the exterior. The density and angles of the grilles mimic "eave" contours, creating varied impressions with shifting views.

Designed as a "street market under eaves," it unifies indoor-outdoor elements, enhancing spatial layers. As the main indoor circulation, it connects groceries, workshops, dining, and more, fostering a relaxed, free daily life scenario.
