In a 163 sqm apartment, the homeowner couple and their two children reside, expecting the home to provide a sense of peace while offering a warm, enveloping space. Therefore, the space was reconfigured, with the ceiling outlined in an arched dome. The elegant curved shape resembles an expansive nest, creating a feeling of gentle embrace. Emphasizing natural simplicity, neutral earth-tone paints, wood, and rattan were used to establish a warm and soft foundation, crafting a tranquil abode. The dining area is equipped with an island and a dining table, making it convenient for light cooking. After the COVID-19 experience, a sink was added to the island, allowing family members to wash their hands immediately upon returning home. In the master bedroom, glass sliding doors were used to separate the ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, creating a seamless flow for changing clothes and bathing upon returning home. This also effectively isolates these areas from the sleeping space, maintaining a safe and clean environment. Hiding a heavy beam and air conditioning and dehumidifying equipment while maintaining accessible maintenance openings, all within a sleek design.
