This 92.8 sqm apartment located on a high floor is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Tamsui River. It offers expansive river views and lush mountain greenery. The two homeowners, accompanied by their three cats, aspire for a life as comfortable and elegant as a vacation. To achieve this, they first expanded the common area by removing a room adjacent to the living room, effectively extending the space and allowing for a spacious floor-to-ceiling window view. In the well-lit areas of the living and dining rooms, light gray and pure white tones create a pristine foundation. In contrast, the entrance and kitchen, located deeper within the space, are adorned in black, helping to stabilize the spatial center of gravity. This gradient from light to dark extends the visual depth of the space. The heart of the home is arranged around the dining and kitchen area. An island bar was added to the kitchen, allowing family members to gather and prepare meals together. One of the rooms has been converted into a walk-in closet, with earthy tones used to maintain a warm texture.
