The sustainability strategies of efficiency, consistency and sufficiency were implemented in the new building. In accordance with the SSP planning label GreytoGreen®, climate adaptation measures such as a green façade and water storage were implemented in conjunction with scientifically supported planning. The building leads the way with innovative ideas and serves as a role model. The six-storey building for around 500 employees appeals to future-oriented companies with its flexible spaces. The thermally insulated shell has a façade made of galvanized sheet steel, while the windows provide natural light. The large south-facing façade has a complex green façade with plant troughs and climbing aids. These are supplied with rainwater via a roof storage tank. The planting in front of the transparent surfaces provides natural sun protection and ensures a pleasant microclimate. The building roof has a retention and biodiversity roof, which provides a home for around 150 plant species and numerous insects and has the effect of a sponge. Energy is supplied by a heat pump with heating/cooling ceiling sails and a photovoltaic system.
