The 2300 sqm office and showroom for Woodstock, Russia's largest supplier of rare natural wood, seamlessly integrate functionality with a "wood museum" concept. The showroom, designed to showcase the beauty of exotic woods, features dark colors and dramatic lighting to highlight materials. Key elements include three central meeting rooms: two circular and one oval surrounded by wooden petals, all finished in rare woods such as olive, sucupira, and tamo.
In stark contrast to the strikingly dark "museum space", the two-story office utilizes light and warm colors with light wood to create a welcoming environment. The space is adorned with elegant furniture, custom parquet flooring, and a sculpted acoustic ceiling for a futuristic touch.
Moreover, the office is thoughtfully designed to accommodate various communal, educational, and recreational activities. It boasts a lecture hall, co-working space for designers to look through the wood samples, kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable recreation space.
According to the client’s feedback, visitors often admire the office’s design, wishing to replicate its elegance in their own interiors.
