W City Crown is a multifunctional urban sports complex located in Cangnan, China. The design blends sports, ecology, and community services in a flowing architectural form inspired by the letter "W", symbolizing “between two mountains.” The project integrates a public sports center, neighborhood service hub, and business facilities into a vibrant, inclusive destination for people of all ages. Its undulating structure echoes the surrounding mountain landscape, forming a distinctive crown-like silhouette that stands as a visual landmark in the city. With expansive urban frontage and an open, layered layout, the building fosters connectivity and interaction between people and place. The rooftop doubles as a professional basketball training venue, hosting elite teams in preparation for national competitions. Emphasizing sustainability, cultural continuity, and a human-centered philosophy, the design reimagines the traditional sports venue as a shared urban living room—an inviting space where daily life, recreation, and community culture seamlessly converge.
