The design for the renovation of the town hall Göttingen modernizes the façade with 50 x 50 cm tiles in new colors and motifs such as “square”. This creates a harmonious effect from afar and a lively play of colors up close. Historical elements are reused, giving the building, which was previously known as a “tiled stove” or “swimming pool”, a modern reinterpretation. Interior spaces such as the foyer and the multi-purpose hall will be designed more flexibly and optimized in terms of energy efficiency and comfort.
