How can we imagine and inhabit a new place? Located in Lancy Pont-Rouge, at the heart of a vibrant urban district, the new Raiffeisen Genève Rive Gauche agency and administrative center emphasizes rammed earth—an expressive, sustainable material reflecting the bank’s human, local, and durable values.
Set in the evolving Etoile neighborhood, between glacial moraine and urban density, the project roots itself in both history and future. With street-level access at the base of a new tower, the branch affirms Raiffeisen's role in the PAV (Praille-Acacias-Vernets).
A 77-meter rammed earth wall is the project’s narrative and structural backbone. Visible from outside, its undulating geometry and layered texture evoke agricultural landscapes and guide visitors through a warm, open space.
The architecture challenges the fortress-like image of banks, opting instead for openness and community. The wall connects reception, meeting rooms, offices, lounges, and a green zone. Naturally regulating humidity and sound, it fosters comfort and focus.
Crafted with local earth, it reflects a shared commitment—from client to artisans—to innovation and environmental responsibility.
