This project transforms an old warehouse into a large-scale teaching tool for early childhood environmental education.
After renovation, the original large canopy has become a spacious activity terrace, and the significant elevation difference has been reshaped into a large grassy slope. Classrooms of various appearances extend into the corridors and further into the outdoors, creating a multi-layered, flexible, and diverse space for activities and learning. A themed staircase weaves through the space, enriching the walking experience with dynamic visual perspectives, while various small windows add fun opportunities for observation.
The façade incorporates colors inspired by the National Museum of Taiwan Literature—patina green, brick red, classic white, and the warm yellow of Tainan’s sunshine—stimulating creativity and fostering local identity. Here, children joyfully begin writing the prologue of their childhood, framing vibrant moments of activity and creating a picture book that is uniquely their own.
Bio Life is full of dreams, and we pursue them with dedication.
Architects are the ones who bring dreams to life,
