We designed the heart of the resort as a bird’s nest—symbolizing fertility, peace, and new beginnings. Positioned at the hotel’s center, it invites guests into a transformative experience where both body and soul are renewed. Inspired entirely by nature, the structure uses locally sourced wood from the Macao region of the Dominican Republic. Natural textures and shrub-like forms give the space a warm, grounded character.
Each villa and hotel block is named after a different bird species, shaping its architecture and emotional identity. Guests awaken to birdsong, not alarms, immersed in a setting where nature leads the rhythm of life.
Key features include the Bird Nest main building, Emerald Spa, Golden Egg Restaurant, Tanager and Trogon Villas, Oriole Residences, and a Beach Club, Theatre, Conference Center, and À la Carte Restaurant. Sustainability is integral: the resort produces its own energy, grows fresh food in on-site vertical farms, and includes creative workshops to engage both guests and locals.
More than a resort, Bird Nest is a sanctuary—protective, regenerative, and deeply alive.
