This house is located on the outskirts of of Mexicali, Mexico.
To adapt to financial limitations, the design predominantly features exposed concrete block walls, minimizing the use of finishes and plaster.

This choice not only helped reduce costs but also created a harmonious contrast between the exposed materials and the project’s overall context. The material palette emphasizes an honest and functional aesthetic, where structural elements play both a practical and visual role.

The plot on which the house is built has an orthogonal configuration and naturally integrates with the construction of the owners’ business. The house’s layout is organized around a small central patio, which serves as the heart of the project by providing ventilation and natural lighting to both private and common areas.
