The Eastern Iowa Airport's new Fixed Base Operator (FBO) facility and aircraft storage hangar elevates aviation infrastructure by integrating functionality, sustainability, and refined design. Built to accommodate growing demand for athletic charters and executive flights, it enhances private and corporate aviation services while supporting regional growth.

Constructed with durable limestone and aluminum panels, the facility prioritizes longevity and efficiency. A high-performance envelope maximizes daylight while controlling glare, while expansive glazing enhances illumination. The polycarbonate-clad hangar door allows natural light, creating a bright workspace. A direct FBO-to-hangar connection streamlines operation.

The airside lounge offers premium views, a food and beverage area, and leather furnishings, dark-stained plywood, exposed steel, and heavy timber, reinforcing an executive aesthetic. The pilots’ lounge, strategically positioned, allows staff readiness for arrivals.
