Cupertino City Center transforms an obsolete corporate enclave into a living urban campus where architecture, landscape, and community pulse as one. What was once a barren plaza and two isolated 1980s towers is now a connected civic heart anchored by a social common, turning passage into place. A pedestrian axis carves through the site, linking city street to recreation hub, and illuminated five-story vertical gardens rise as beacons of renewal, infusing air, light, and life. Seasonal lobbies dissolve boundaries: a lush winter garden glowing with greenery to the south, and a breezy summer porch opening northward. Biophilic materials of bleached wood, marble, and patterned stone ground the experience in warmth and craft. Re-clad façades and expansive glazing modernize the skyline, while sheltered outdoor workspaces invite collaboration and chance encounter. Merging amenity, ecology, and community engagement, the project elevates a forgotten corporate center into a civic anchor - a dynamic model for urban repositioning and the future of workplace design.
