Where forest whispers and water dreams, a home is conceived as a bridge across a vineyard pond. Woven into Oregon’s countryside, the design nestles within a grove of Douglas Firs. The canopy extends into saplings and vine maples, with meandering paths inviting quiet discovery. Songbirds gather in berry-rich natives, while the pond shimmers as a year-round sanctuary - a mirror of the sky and forest.

Arrival frames a broad vista of water, while the living room dissolves outward through sliding doors onto a platform for diving directly into the pond, blurring the boundaries between architecture, body, and nature. Along the shore, iris and sedge yield to meadow grasses and perennials in a layered rhythm honoring natural succession. Plantings unfold as seasonal companions, granting the place a timeless sense of belonging. A lyrical continuum, the dwelling becomes an enchanting union of house, forest, and pond - a place listening, breathing, and enduring.
