The On Paulista project rises at the intersection of two of São Paulo's main thoroughfares. At the highest and most historic point in the city, atop the Paulista Avenue spire, and just below, at the north-south intersection with 23 de Maio Avenue, On Paulista was designed to replicate the cosmopolitan and urban atmosphere that inspires one of São Paulo's most sought-after real estate market regions. With extensive urban infrastructure, including a metro station located at its doorstep, the development of this project has always been premised on flexibility of spaces, ease of access, safety, and well-being.
As an architectural design, the vitality and dynamism of a city that never sleeps like São Paulo was uniquely replicated in its volume and finishes. Harking back to a brutalist past, the volumes juxtapose one another, facing Ibirapuera Park to the south, but with their front facades pointing north. Their uses were always separated according to the north (looking towards Serra da Cantareira) and south (Ibirapuera Park) orientations. Both are abundant green areas, teeming with life, both urban and natural. Thus, their final shape resembles a large compass.
