“Éternel” is a multi-functional residence tailored for a designer and her family, conceived as a timeless “container of life.” More than a shelter, it evolves with changing family structures, blending memories with the promise of the future. The design emphasizes openness, flexibility, and accessibility: a wall-less interface links living, dining, and study areas, defined by subtle shifts in height, texture, and material—from stone to wood—forming a pure yet layered backdrop. Public zones encourage interaction, while private spaces remain calm through calibrated light and scale. The master suite connects dressing and bathing areas with tawny glass partitions and ventilation gaps, balancing intimacy and comfort. A smart home system enhances convenience and allows the house to serve as both family haven and professional showcase. Unlike many designer homes focused on style, this project prioritizes emotional flow, health, and long-term living value. Sustainable materials, daylight, and natural ventilation reduce energy use while improving air quality. Above all, the home nurtures bonds: its inviting atmosphere draws family close, showing how design fosters lasting resonance.
