The new GEMÜ headquarters in Kupferzell marks the first milestone of the 18-hectare master plan and serves as a reference for future buildings. A central element is a bright atrium house that enables communication across all levels and embodies transparency. On the ground floor, a 25-meter-high hall with a glass skylight structure welcomes visitors. The reception, conference rooms, and a restaurant with a terrace are fully accessible. The G Café evokes an Italian café, offers all-day specialties, and opens up with full-height glazing to the pine forest.
Open Space Offices are flexibly designed, with workshops for agile work integrated. On the third floor, the executive area houses conference rooms, a lounge, a bar, an art installation, and a greened roof terrace. Sustainability is driven by photovoltaic systems, a heat pump, a combined heat and power plant, and a double facade that reduces cooling demand. Thirty-three thousand hollow-core elements save 110 t of CO?. Retention facilities improve the microclimate. With SHIMMER, Art in Architecture, and a media installation by Daniel Canogar, data from 13 German rivers are visualized.

Wir bearbeiten Projekte im Industrie- und Verwaltungsbau und das seit über 29 Jahren und mehr als 1.500 Projekten mit großem Erfolg. Unsere Geschichte reicht bereits über 50 Jahre zurück: Gegründet wurde das Büro 1973 von Christian Schmelzle.
