Dr. Anna Grichting Solder

Anna Grichting is an architect, urbanist, and musician at Bordermeetings Switzerland and graduated with a Doctor of Design in Urbanism from Harvard University.
Anna has taught at the Universities of Qatar, Geneva, Harvard, MIT, and Vermont, as well as lecturing as invited faculty at HEAD Geneva, Politenic of Milano and New York University. She is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Vermont and a nominator and technical reviewer for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
Anna is the recipient of grants for research, workshops, cultural productions, and residencies worldwide. She works on bridging borders and designing Healing Ecologies in Landscapes of Conflict, from the Cyprus Green Line, the Korean DMZ to Qatar’s borderscapes.
She has given keynote lectures, conducted research and published books and journal articles on Public Art and Public Realm, Urban Agriculture in Drylands, Food-Water-Energy Nexus, Urban Biodiversity, Blue Urbanism, and the Urban Legacies of Mega Events. www.annagrichting.com
