Kavitha Iyer is a licensed Architect and Designer with 21 years of experience in Hospitality, and a passion for Art and Travel.
In her current role as Head of Design for Intercontinental Hotels Group, she leads Brand Design for the Americas, with a focus on defining inspiring design experiences for each brand.
Prior to joining Intercontinental Hotels Group, Kavitha held various roles at Marriott International. She led several high-profile design initiatives such as the Marriott Hotels reimagination and most recently the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts transformation. She was also responsible for creating next-generation re-designs for TownePlace Suites, Westin, and Delta Hotels.
Kavitha’s work and installations have been published in various travel magazines and is a recurring speaker at industry conferences and organizations.
Kavitha currently lives in Washington DC with her husband, where she spends her free time painting and enjoying running in Rock Creek Park.
