Eduardo Salgado Mordt

Eduardo Salgado Mordt is a Spanish architect based in Basel with more than​ 20 years of international experience in architecture, project management, and digital transformation. He graduated as an Architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de​ Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Since 2012 he has been part of Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, where he has held different​ positions ranging from Senior Architect and Project Manager in different projects to his​ current role as Senior Project Manager in Business Information Systems. In this position he​ is the manager of the digital implementation of Salesforce and Certinia, overseeing business​ process review, stakeholder engagement, change management, and resource planning.

In 2024 he founded his own practice, LACAL Architektur GmbH, which he combines with his​ work at Herzog & de Meuron. Previously, he directed his own office in Spain, where he developed award-winning projects such as the restoration of “El Molinón” Football Stadium in​ Gijón, the Salas Town Hall, and the Plaza del Instituto public square.​ His career combines architectural excellence with a strong capacity to lead teams, manage​ complex projects, and enhance organizational performance.
